Use your wealth to get Nigerians out of poverty, APC group tells Atiku, Peter Obi

In a recent press briefing held in Abuja, the Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Group, led by its Director-General, Prof. Mohammed Kailani, emphasized the importance of rallying behind President Bola Tinubu for the betterment of Nigeria. Kailani urged all Nigerians to lend their support to Tinubu's vision and goals for the nation.

Addressing the opposition, Kailani urged them to desist from distractions and allow President Tinubu to focus on addressing the country's challenges. He emphasized Tinubu's competence in navigating both symmetric and asymmetric warfare for the betterment of the masses.

According to Kailani, President Tinubu possesses the vision, strategic acumen, and a concrete plan based on evidence and realism to significantly enhance the quality of life for all Nigerians. He stressed the need for the opposition to concentrate on resolving issues within their own political parties before offering advice or criticism.

Kailani called out opposition leaders, highlighting instances where they could have utilized their wealth to benefit the country, such as Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, both allegedly holding substantial amounts of money in personal accounts abroad. He criticized their post-defeat behavior, accusing them of engaging in wishful thinking politics rather than actively contributing to national development.

In summary, the APC Support Group advocates for widespread support for President Tinubu's agenda, urging the opposition to focus on constructive solutions rather than hindering the progress of the administration.

Release Nnamdi Kanu, We’ll Make You Our Hero In South East – Igbo Youths Writes

In a statement released by the Coalition Of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), a youth-based Igbo interest group, President Bola Tinubu is urged to become a hero by releasing the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu. The group, known as RALD NEWS MEDIA, reports that COSEYL emphasizes Tinubu's historical advocacy for the rule of law and respect for court orders, referencing his involvement in NADECO and the fight against military junta and dictatorship.

As the Supreme Court is set to decide on Nnamdi Kanu's case on December 15, 2023, the South East Geopolitical Zone anticipates his return. COSEYL calls on President Tinubu to champion the rule of law by releasing Kanu from the Department of State Services (DSS) custody. The group expresses its commitment to celebrating Tinubu for upholding the principles he fought for during the military era.

COSEYL believes that the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu would signify Tinubu's dedication to his principles and contribute to ending insecurity in the South East. Kanu, who has been in detention for over two years following his arrest in Kenya in 2021, faces a pivotal moment as the Supreme Court prepares to make a decision. Despite previous court orders for his release, his extended detention has raised concerns about adherence to the rule of law.

Prince Kunle Fafunwa Moves Against President Tinubu’s Peace Deal, Stirs Crisis With Onikoyi Kingship Ambition

Prince Kunle Fafunwa Moves Against President Tinubu’s Peace Deal, Stirs Crisis With Onikoyi Kingship Ambition

Prince Kunle Fafunwa Moves Against President Tinubu’s Peace Deal, Stirs Crisis With Onikoyi Kingship Ambition.

In a potential crisis unfolding among the royal families, tensions rise in the Ikoyi kingdom of Lagos Island as Prince Kunle Fafunwa, the late monarch's youngest son, challenges the agreed-upon rotational succession plan. This plan, endorsed by stakeholders in 2006 under Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aimed to prevent unrest. However, Prince Kunle's alleged self-proclamation as the rightful successor, backed by newfound wealth and political ties, violates the signed chieftaincy declaration.

The late monarch, HRM Patrick Ibikunle Fafunwa-Onikoyi, belonged to the Fafunwa Royal House, logically leading to the Ojubira family's succession. Concerns arise as Prince Kunle reportedly accumulates vast wealth through questionable land dealings, causing discontent within the community. His actions, such as denying traditional rituals during the late monarch's burial, intensify the discord.

A video clip reveals traditional worshippers stranded outside the palace, emphasizing growing discontent. Furthermore, Prince Kunle faces legal issues, with a court order for contempt of court in March 2013. Allegedly collaborating with a notorious land grabber, Ahmed Tajudeen, raises additional concerns about Kunle's methods.

Former Commissioner Anofi Elegushi is implicated in land grabs, potentially affecting his political career. Family members accuse Prince Kunle of financial misconduct, including unauthorized withdrawals and selling family land without consent. The family appeals to leaders, including President Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu, and Oba Akiolu, to uphold the rotational kingship agreement and restore peace in Ikoyi land.
