Former Anambra State Governor, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Passes Away at 85

The late Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, affectionately known as 'Okwadike,' was a distinguished figure who served as the governor of Anambra State from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Third Republic. Born on November 20, 1938, his contributions extended beyond state governance, encompassing roles as a Federal Permanent Secretary, Political Adviser to the President, and a Presidential aspirant.
His passing, confirmed in a statement by Chief Rob Ezeife on behalf of the Ezeife Dynasty of Igbo-Ukwu, occurred on December 14 at 6 pm in the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja. The family expressed deep sorrow and announced that more details about Dr. Ezeife's life, as well as arrangements for his state burial, will be disclosed later.
