Excitement As FG Finally Announces Date For Payments Of N-Power Backlogs

Excitement as FG finally announces date for payments of N-Power backlogs    

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially declared its intention to commence the payment of a nine-month backlog of stipends to N-Power beneficiaries starting in November.   

The announcement was made by Akindele Egbuwalo, the National Programme Manager of N-Power, during a recent meeting in Abuja

Egbuwalo revealed that the necessary funds have been successfully recovered from existing payment service providers and will be disbursed in installments.     This vital information was disclosed through a statement issued on Monday, October 16, by Jamaluddeen Kabir, the National Communication Manager of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

The N-Power programme, which has positively impacted the lives of many Nigerians, will be undergoing a transformation. It has been renamed the Renewed Hope Job Creation Programme (RHJCP) in alignment with the new agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Dr. Betta Edu, the Honourable Minister, will oversee the program, and it is set to be expanded to benefit 5 million beneficiaries over the course of five years.
